BJP's K Surendran granted bail Neyyanttinkara case

Thiruvananthapuram : BJP State General Secretary K Surendran has been granted bail on Wednesday, in a case involving in a tiff with the Neyyanttinkara Tehsildar during the by elections.

However, he could not be released as there was pending arrest warrant against him in Kannur. Earlier, the Ranni court had granted bail to Surendra in the first case on the condition that he should not enter Ranni Taluk, in which Sabarimala temple is located, for two months.

Meanwhile, the police is also expected to present Surendran in Pattananthitta court ragrding the violence during Chiitira Atta Vishesham. However, the BJP has accused the police of human rights violation citing Surendran's travelling schedules with out a break.
