Ruckus in Kerala assembly over Sabarimala issue

Thiruvananthapuram : The Kerala Assembly Assembly on Friday witnessed noisy scenes with the opposition demanding the repealing of the section 144 and prohibitory orders in parts of Sabarimala and Sannidhanam.

With placards, the opposition is raising slogans in front of the speaker's dais. However, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan continued to answer the questions regarding the Disaster Relief Fund amid the chaos.

Meanwhile, PC George MLA and BJP MLA O RajaGopal reached the assembly in a black-clad attire, in protests against the actions in Sabarimala.

Last day, Speaker P Sreeeramakrishnan has disallowed the introduction of a private bill by a congress legislator in the assembly on the issue of entry of all age group into Sabarimala.
