Rahul Easwar, Sabarimala

Thiruvananthapuram : A day after the Kerala Police filed a case against Ayyappa Dharma Sena President Rahul Easwar, under non bailable offence, he is at it again. In a latest Instagram post, Mr Easwar said that Walkie Talkies will be used for better communications with devotees, as part of the prayer meeting, in protests against the women entry in Sabarimala.

'Getting ready for a Battle in the Mountains. Walkie Talkies for Communication for our #Ayyappa devotees , Tribal bros & sis. Thanks for support from our Muslim & Christian bros' he wrote along with a picture of him with a basket full of walkie talkies.

Pointing the poor range and connectivity in Sabarimala, Rahul Easwar also added that he will be approaching police for the authorization of walkie talkie for communication in Sabarimala. 'The miscommunications between the devotees worsened the situation in Nilakkal and Sabarimala, he said.

The hill shrine will reopen on November 5 for the one-day celebration of Chithira Attathirunal, the birth anniversary of Sri Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma, the erstwhile king of Travancore royal family, on November 6.
