Patient dies after Ambulance catches fire in Alappuzha

Alappuzha : In a shocking incident, a patient was burned to death after the ambulance that carried him caught on fire. As per the reports, the oxygen cylinder in the ambulance blew up, which resulted in fire. Though the patient was rushed to the hospital, he could not be revived.

The victim Chambakulam native Mohanan Nair was on his way to the hospital after suffering from asthma.

Saifuddin, the ambulance driver and the nurse has been admitted to a nearby hospital. An auto rickshaw and two motorcycles which were passing nearby the ambulance also got destroyed in the blast.
