Man jumped 20 feet to rescue dog: 30 men, 14 vehicles went to rescue him

Norfolk: A man who jumped down a 20-feet manhole to rescue his pet dog ended up in waiting for his own rescue operation. The incident happened in Norfolk, UK. The man named Tony Stevens is lucky to be alive after dramatic double rescue operations to save him and the dog.

According to the reports, Mr Stevens jumped down a storm drain after he saw his pet dog falling down a manhole. However, he broke his ankle upon landing inside and was unable to pull himself out.

The rescue mission took him out of the drain which involved three fire crews, paramedics and Norfolk Fire and Rescue Services, Urban Search and Rescue Team. After the operation, which lasted for two hours, the owner and his pet dog were pulled to safety.
