Govt not to intervene in SC judges’ issue: PP Chaudhury

New Delhi: The central government had made it clear that it won’t interfere in the issue of four senior most judges of the Supreme Court over the ‘not in order’ press conference. The Minister of State of Law PP Chaudhury said that the judiciary would resolve the matter by itself.

“Our judiciary is reputed all over the world, is independent and will sort out the matter itself,” he said. The government also added that it has no say in it and did not wish to interfere as it was an internal matter of the judiciary.

Last day in an unprecedented move four senior most judges of the apex court called a press conference and said the situation in the SC was ‘not in order’ and many ‘less than desirable’ things had taken place.
